'What if it were Scooby Doo on that sign? Yes, the cartoon Aqua Teen Hunger Force is lesser known, but honestly, maybe if people paid more attention to their teenage kids they would know all about it, and not feel so scared when they see a 2 dimensional character making an obscene gesture. Things got way out of hand because of an overly sensitive country, that apparently can't take a joke.'
it was in response to this fucking douche that wrote in calling turner "sleaze bags", when we all know had it been spongebob on it everyone would be like, "oh that's funny". only because this show is marketed to young adults (aka stoners, layabouts, high school kids) is it becoming such a big deal. no one is interested in boston, it's not going to be attacked. this is way too small of a city, space and population wise, and it's a little conceited to think we are soooo great that someone would take the time to place bombs all over. and don't you think maybe if someone was trying to blow up the city they wouldn't put light brite pieces on it? might attract some attention.
let's get our heads out of our asses boston, accept that we looked stupid to the rest of the country (again), and move on. maybe if we were the free thinking liberals everyone else thinks we are, we wouldn't act like tantrum throwing toddlers, we would suck it up, and move on.
quit crying boston..
