probably even less downloads than the pixies..

literally copied and pasted from Kotaku

Red Octane's Kai Huang said during today's Microsoft address that there'd be some Metallica DLC coming for Guitar Hero, to coincide with their latest album, Death Magnetic. Well, it's not coinciding with it as much as it is the album, with a note on Metallica's homepage informing fans that, on the same day the album's released in stores, you'll be able to download all of its songs in Guitar Hero III. They also say there'll be Death Magnetic content for Guitar Hero World Tour as well, but info on that isn't quite as specific.

"Death Magnetic," the entire album, available for Guitar Hero too! [Metallica, via Guitar Hero News]

and of course my commentary:
what the shit are they thinking. i like the metallica dlc for rock band, only because it's old. everyone knows metallica lost the majority of their fans.. and their sad attempt to win them back with video games is a lost cause. the few people that even still play guitar hero 3 aren't going to pay who knows what to play "guitar" to a bunch of songs they've never heard. metallica's track record sucks ass for the last 15 years, and this is just pathetic. they alienated anyone who even knows how to download anything some time ago..
it's sad to see people who had some real talent lose it by being money grubbing douche bags.

ps: what is james hetfield doing so close to fire in that picture?
they never learn..
